Treatment Process

The Process of treatment can be viewed as a continuum, beginning with referral and continuing through a number of discrete stages: screening/evaluation, referral, admission, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, discharge and continuing care.

Every client is a unique individual with strengths, weaknesses, problems, needs and characteristics which distinguish that client from others. Therefore, treatment of each client will differ in as far as individual strengths and needs dictate individual treatment interventions specific to that individual. Clients will respond differently to treatment and will advance through treatment and varying rates.

Treatment Benefits

Individuals who benefit from partial hospitalization include those experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms, those who otherwise might be hospitalized without the ongoing support of a partial hospitalization program, or those unable to function independently on a day-to-day basis. Treatment is directed toward crisis stabilization, through intensive programming and toward increasing the psychosocial function of the client in their daily environment
